- UX/UI review and overall redesign of the desktop and mobile web platforms.
- Redesign centred around the repositioning of the website from a jobs board to a content oriented user platform.

Workshub is a popular jobs board for the web develoment and engineering based communities.
As well as a comprehensive UX and visual updating, a large part of the redesign was to incorporate more content driven user retention through a tailored feed of relevant articles and company or job profiles.

When a user signs up for WorksHub they go through a short onboarding to select the programming languages that appeal to them most.

As well as this intelligent filtering, the jobs board offers universal filtering across a range of criteria to allow a user full search capability across all available jobs. They also have the option to create a ‘Job Seeker Profile’ so that they can get all the information required to apply to roles organised before hand and then use this to simply Quick Apply to the jobs they want to submit for.

Articles, written by contributors and community members were a key mechanism to increase engagement and retention on the platform and to encourage users to further explore the jobs board.

By completing their user profile and selecting which particular programming languages they wanted to follow, users would be served content tailored to their particular programming interests, as well as have the option to write and submit articles of their own onto the platform.

Users can receive and send direct messages from team members at the companies with jobs they’ve applied for.

The idea was to create a paired back and utilitarian messaging functionality just to focus on communications regarding job applications.
